Port Canaveral, Florida, USA. The USCGC Eagle is the only active commissioned sailing vessel in American military service and is used as a training vessel for future officers of the United States Coast Guard. The 295 ft (90 m) steel-hulled barque was built as a German sail trainer in 1936. It was taken by the US as reparations at the end of the World War II.
